What we process

Advertising

The game shows a banner ad, now and then a full-screen ad when you head home, and optional reward videos you choose to watch (the one-time "Remove Ads" purchase ends the banner and full-screen ads). They are shown by Unity LevelPlay (Unity Technologies) with the ad networks ironSource Ads and Unity Ads, which process device data and, only with your permission, an advertising ID. Details: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy.

Recipients

Processors acting on our behalf: our hosting provider STRATO GmbH (Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany) and Cloudflare, Inc. (USA; network and security services, certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). Apple (payments, sign-in, push), Unity/ironSource and Google (consent tool) process data under their own responsibility. We do not sell personal data. Where recipients are outside the EU/EEA (for example the USA or Israel), transfers rely on an adequacy decision or EU standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability (Art. 15-20 GDPR), to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21), and to withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. You can delete your account in the game (Settings > Delete account) or by email (see games.axath.com/gemrush/delete-account). For anything else write to [email protected]. You may complain to a supervisory authority; ours is Die Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit der Freien Hansestadt Bremen, Arndtstraße 1, 27570 Bremerhaven, www.datenschutz.bremen.de. Providing data is not required by law or contract, but the game cannot work without the game account data.

Children

Gem Rush is not aimed at children, but may be played by them. Under 13 there are no usernames, rankings or friends, ads are non-personalised and child-directed, and no tracking is requested. Under 16 in the EU, ads are non-personalised. Parents who believe their child gave us data can write to [email protected].
